Accepting resumes. Must be able to work collaboratively giving and receiving constructive feedback along with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines while sticking to a long-term project schedule.

Competency requirements:
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and people skills

  • Ability to work independently, across groups, and as a leader to achieve results

  • Excellent time-management skills; ability to juggle several projects simultaneously

  • Dedication and responsiveness to audience needs

  • Experience with content management systems such as Content Studio, DocStudio, or equivalent

  • Familiarity with publishing in a variety of medias, formats, and rendering environments for online and offline delivery

  • Technical expertise in XML/HTML required; XSLT, XSD, CSS, and related technologies a plus

  • Database experience also a plus

  • Work with and learn the functionality of the latest product builds

  • Work with subject matter experts to gain knowledge of product functionality

  • Write procedural and instructional content based on product functionality

  • Maintain existing content by keeping apprised of product changes and updating topics as needed

  • Work closely with editor

  • Work within the confines of an existing style guide

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree or equivalent, with advanced work in Technical Communication, Instructional Design, Journalism, Education or a related field, plus three years experience in a technical environment as writer.
